⬅ Back to Analyzer

Steps

  • Upload a solo recording
Upload a WAV or MP3 file containing your improvised solo.
  • Play the audio
Use the play button to listen and locate the first measure.
  • Mark the first measure
Click “Mark First Measure” exactly on beat 1 of your solo.
  • Enter the chord progression
One measure per line. Multiple chords per measure are allowed separated by a space.
  • Enter tempo and time signature
These are used to calculate harmonic timing.
  • Analyze
The AI will analyze phrasing, harmony, motifs, and give feedback.

Limitations

  • Single note lines only
At the moment, this analyzer cannot parse multiple notes simultaneously.
  • Accompaniment noise
Any noise from rhythm section might be misidentified as your solo. Try to have the backing track as quiet as possible. Currently, a live rhythm section is not recommended for accuracy.
